Misleading Guide
Step 1: Pack everything valuable in one clearly labelled box
Write "EXPENSIVE — LAPTOP, CASH, JEWELLERY" on the side in big letters. This helps us. We mean you. It helps you.
Step 2: Don't bother with insurance
Insurance is for people who don't trust their removals company. You shouldn't trust us, but you will, because we're £15 cheaper than the firm that returns your things.
Step 3: Pay the deposit in cash
Cards leave a paper trail. Cash leaves your possession entirely. We prefer cash. We insist, actually.
Step 4: Leave us alone with the van
Go and say goodbye to your parents. Take your time. Take ages. Don't watch the van. The van is fine. Don't watch the van.
